Three's Phone Network is Borked In Scotland and the North

By Sam Gibbs on at

Unlucky Scots and northerners seem to have been without phone service on Three for at least 24 hours, with all reports seemingly indicating users are still having issues this morning. The weird thing is it's not data this time, it's the ability to actually, you know, make a call that's all screwed up. I'm not quite sure how you'd even notice.

I can't remember the last time I made a genuine phone call on my mobile. It must have been months. Anyway, it's unclear how long the issue has been going on, or what's causing it. Three said its engineers have been working flat out since yesterday to fix the issue, which hopefully should be solved today.

Anyone here been hit by the phone line being cut on them? [Three UK via The Register]
