Ready to Pay the Annual FIFA Tax? Cheapest Places to Buy FIFA 14

By Gerald Lynch on at

You've had the pleasure of playing FIFA 14 on your iOS and Android devices absolutely free for the past few days, but you're going to have to cough up the cash if you're looking to nab a copy of the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions. On sale today, we've hunted down the cheapest UK high street deals (and a handful of prices from the biggest online names too) to help you keep some cash in your pocket this weekend.

By far the best deal comes from Sainsburys, who are offering up the virtual kickabout for just £32, providing you spend £30 in store first. Make sure you do your weekly "big shop" in one of their stores and you should be sorted. It's £42.99 in their stores otherwise.

Tesco are offering a similar deal. It's just £33 if bought alongside selected Xbox Live and PSN cards, with the usual price being £39.

Asda and Morrisons follow next with prices of £39.97 and £39.99 respectively, with no notable deals on offer.

Game are pricing the standard edition of FIFA 14 at £44.99, but are also offering exclusive Ultimate and Collectors editions at £59.99 and £84.99 a go.

Head online and Amazon have the Xbox 360 standard edition priced at £39.97, while the PS3 version is marginally cheaper at £39. Zavvi are pricing both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions at £42.98. If you're holding out for the Xbox One or PS4 versions of FIFA 14, both Amazon and Zavvi are offering pre-order pages too, though they're roughly a tenner more expensive across the board.
