Hot on the heels of the news that seemingly confirmed Apple's plan to integrate fingerprint scanning into its new iPhone 5S, we now have a photograph of said controversial button. This supposed marketing image describes it as the "Home button / Touch ID sensor."
The photo comes from Nowhereelse, which claims to have acquired a photo of a simple iPhone 5S user guide referencing the boringly-named Touch ID sensor. If genuine, it gives us additional confirmation that Apple's big new thing is indeed a biometric locking system. If fake, it shows that we'll all still write about anything on the global Apple Hardware Announcement Day. [Nowhereelse via Apple Insider]
