Despite costing Microsoft an enormous amount of money already, the software giant is seemingly set to continue its push into Microsoft-brand tablet hardware, with benchmarks suggesting a Surface 2 is on the way. And it'll be joined by a Pro model, too.
The ARM-powered Surface 2 machine will be running the RT version of Windows, with benchmarks discovered by Tabletguide.nl suggesting a Tegra 4 chipset may be powering the forthcoming tablet's 1080p display. For those preferring the standard Windows 8 experience, an Intel-powered Surface Pro 2 is also in the pipeline, with sources suggesting it'll arrive running on a Haswell-based Core i5 processor with a standard 8GB of RAM.
