Thanks to newly released regulatory documents by the FCC, we seem to have confirmation that a "Nexus 5" will, in fact, be coming to us from LG sometime relatively soon.
The documents, first uncovered by Phonescoop, come bearing loads of photos that reveal both the internal and external workings of the device—a device that looks strikingly like the one Google may have accidentally posted online (before promptly removing it). And while the filing was actually submitted as a "class 2 permissive change" for the G2, this just means that there's a very good chance that the Nexus 5 essentially be a modified version of the G2. This filing was also able to confirm LTE support, which had been come from previous FCC reports. [The Verge]
