21 New Sites of Shame Added to BPI's UK ISP Piracy Blockade

By Gary Cutlack on at

If you get your music from suspiciously-named sites like eMp3World and Mp3Raid you're about to find yourself out of luck, as these -- and 19 other music download sites -- are about to hit the BPI's Pirate Bay lockdown list and disappear for good.

The complete list of 21 about-to-be-blocked sites contains some pretty large names from the battered piracy scene, with the likes of Torretz, Torrentreactor and BitSnoop among those now required to be blocked by all the major UK ISPs. The full list is:

Abmp3, BeeMP3, Bomb-Mp3, FileCrop, FilesTube, Mp3Juices, eMp3World, Mp3lemon, Mp3Raid, MP3skull, NewAlbumReleases, Rapidlibrary, 1337x, BitSnoop, ExtraTorrent, Monova, TorrentCrazy, TorrentDownloads, TorrentHound, Torrentreactor and Torrentz.

Many of which are already showing as blocked on BT internet connections right now, with all of them set to disappear by October 30th. Time to go back to putting a tape recorder next to the speaker. [BBC]
