Fifty Shades, One Direction, Call of Duty and Adele top Amazon UK's Depressing All-Time Sales Charts

Amazon UK is happy that it's about to reach its 15th birthday tomorrow, and is celebrating by revealing its all-time best sellers. As you might expect of the corporate giant, it's mainstream entertainment fodder all the way, with Adele, One Direction, Harry Potter and Call of Duty sending most of our cash to Luxembourg.

In a sad nod to modern times, Amazon's fastest-selling album of all time is One Direction's probably-not-classic Midnight Memories, while Lady Gaga and Rihanna top the MP3 download charts. Physical media music sales have been dominated by Adele and hot new underground band The Beatles.

The only things on Amazon UK's all-time ten best-selling products list that aren't major franchises or massively marketed media productions are the workmanlike SANDISK 8 GB Memory Card in Frustration Free Packaging and the timeless Wired-up HDMI to HDMI Gold Plated Connectors 1.8m Cable v1.3A.
