Excited by all things motion-picture? Our sister site Creative Bloq (a great home for everything from actually-stylish iOS 7 icons to in-depth looks at movie special effects) has collaborated with Intel and HP to put together six weeks of great content focusing on film making, motion graphics, and post production.
Over the course of the six weeks (which we're already in the middle of), there's a broad range of content, all under the heading 'Audiovisual', but broadly broken down into three main categories:
Whether you're looking to improve video production, creating stunning visual effects with leading 3D software, or working on post production techniques such as colour correction, Creative Bloq will be bringing you a selection of great tutorials every week.
Creative Bloq will be speaking to leading figures in the movie industry, from those working at the coal face of 3D production to the visual effects supervisors and creative leads from some of the biggest visual effects companies in the UK.
With collections of everything from the best student-animated short films from 2013, to an in-depth look at a day in the life of a 3-D artist (with many more fascinating pieces of content to come!), the features provide an amazing insight into a normally closed-off industry.
From September 23rd to October 22nd, HP and Intel will be creating a pop-up studio in London's Soho (at 16-18 Marshall St). Over this period, Creative Bloq will be supporting a number of presentations from leading figures in the visual effects industry, and they'll also be hosting their very own meet-up. Tickets for the remaining presentations are available here -- they're free but limited, so sign up now.
And, of course, you can get coverage of the events, and all the Audiovisual features, over on Creative Bloq.
