It's set to be a busy week for Google, with not only its Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system update expected to land, but also a new Nexus 10 tablet and the Nexus 5 smartphone. Rumoured for a November 1st release, we've now got a few extra details on the eagerly-awaited smartphone set to gallop out of the Mountain View stables at the end of the week.
Two-tone ska lovers will be pleased to hear that the handset is now tipped to be landing in both black and white shades, according to the latest leak from @evleaks. Looks aside, the Nexus 5 is said to have a 4.95-inch 1080p display, running on a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, with 4G connectivity onboard. Both 16GB and 32GB models are expected to be available, while pricing is thought to hover around the $349 mark -- £215 if converted directly to Great British pounds. That sounds very cheap, but considering the rod Google built for its own back with the £240 Nexus 4, that pricing may be more realistic than you'd imagine. [EvLeaks via Engadget]
