Forget sneaking contraband into prison in your bum. Some creative crooks have taken to the skies with new technology in an effort to get some precious tobacco to their compatriots in prison. This takes the drone delivery service trend to a new level.
WALB reports that corrections officers at Calhoun State Prison in South Georgia spotted a multi rotor drone fly over the prison gates, and started searching the area. Sure enough, they found a black Dodge full of suspicious folks nearby. After searching the vehicle they found what they were looking for: binoculars, big bunches of tobacco, and of course, a remote controlled drone. Remember when you could just bake contraband into a cake? [WALB]
