Angry Interns May Have Deliberately Botched Some PlayStation 4 Hardware

By Gary Cutlack on at

The poor students that were allegedly forced into building Sony's PS4 at the Foxconn workhouse may have got their own back in quite an impressive way, with a forum post from one student involved suggesting the youths may have deliberately hobbled some of the machines.

A user on the IGN forums discovered a thread on the Xi’an Institue of Technology forum in which students apparently working as interns at Foxconn complained about conditions there. One translated message reads: "Since Foxconn are not treating us well, we will not treat PS4 console well. The PS4 console we assemble can be turned on at best."

The thread has since been deleted, but screen captures and translations of the comments live on. [IGN via Kotaku]
