You may well be religiously keeping to our smartphone battery tips, but there's only so much juice you're ever going to squeeze out of your blower's battery pack. So which phone will give you the most battery life for your buck?

The intense testing teams at Which? believe they have the answer, and it's a win not only for the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the Android crowd as a whole. Testing top handsets including the HTC One, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, Nokia Lumia 1020, BlackBerry Z10, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, it's the three Android handsets that come out on top.

Using Which?'s standardised network test, the overall winner was the Samsung Galaxy S4, managing 1051 call minutes and 405 minutes of 3G web surfing. Apple rival the iPhone 5S managed just 651 call time minutes, and a worryingly low 298 minutes for the 3G web test. [Which?]
