"You WILL Switch From iPhone to Android" Demands Google Emperor Schmidt

By Gary Cutlack on at

Google boss Eric Schmidt has published what appears to he a heartfelt call for the iPhone users of the world to give Android a go, saying: "Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back, you will switch from iPhone to Android and never switch back as everything will be in the cloud, backed up, and there are so many choices for you."

Schmidt, who famously used and publicly favoured BlackBerry models for much of his time at Google, posted his think piece on his Google+ page, where he goes into quite some detail about how his "iPhone friends" are converting to Android and outlines the easiest ways of exporting contacts, photos and music from Apple's cloud in a way that's easy to suck it all back up into Google's rival sub-orbital atmospheric data systems.

And as one final parting shot, Schmidt adds a couple of post scripts advertising Google's other exciting products that his clueless Apple friends are no doubt equally unaware of, suggesting: "Be sure to use Chrome, not Safari; its safer and better in so many ways."
