The arrival of BT Sport and all the hassle it brought with it saw complaints about BT's TV services more than double, as the phone giant made a bit of a mess of its transition to sports broadcaster.
The figures, released by regulator Ofcom, show that complaints about BT's video service rose from an average of 0.26 per thousand subscribers to 0.56, as the men of the nation struggled to get the free football and rugby correctly working on their telephones, TVs and tablets.
Elsewhere, not much has changed. TalkTalk is still the number one bad boy of the landline world, although it posted its lowest ever per-thousand complaint ratio of 0.31 last quarter. That still keeps it in the most complained about landline provider number one slot, though, ahead of BT's 0.23 per-thou' angry customer level. [Ofcom via The Drum]
