12 Photorealistic Paintings of Handsome Vintage Gadgets

By Adam Clark Estes on at

Think you like gadgets? You don't hold a candle to Canadian artist William Fiske who has spent the last decade painting impossibly realistic portraits of everything from vintage cameras to ageing computer consoles.

In his ongoing "Portraits" project, Fiske focuses on monochromatic objects. He emphasises chrome to stunning effect in his work and also seems fascinated with the simplest components, from headphones to cable cords. [William Fiske via Fubiz]
