An apparent row over a late night chess move between friends is said to have caused Italian visitor Saverio Bellante to completely flip, resulting in the gruesome murder of Dublin man Tom O'Gorman over the weekend.

Reports in the press claim Bellante has already admitted to killing O'Gorman in his home and was in fact the person who phoned in the crime. Gruesome details suggest the crime scene may have involved quite a lot of blood and multiple stabbings, with police sources suggesting it was a "bizarre killing." [Guardian]
