Mega's Raving Loony Kim Dotcom Launches Political Internet Party

By Gary Cutlack on at

This is the purple and disappointingly serious logo of the Internet Party, the latest idea from file-sharing king Kim Dotcom. And it's not the fun sort of party you might expect from the gregarious man, but a proper political one. He wants power. Power over taxes and immigration and what times the bins are collected.

Mr Dotcom recently handed in his role as boss of Mega to concentrate more on his protracted legal battles, and although founding this politicial party, the well-know fact that he's not a New Zealand citizen means he can't stand for office personally. But it's his party and he's funding it all, so presumably those who stand for political places will have no choice but to act as his pawns. Should anyone ever vote for such a silly idea. [SMH]
