Amazon admitted in its fourth quarter earnings call that subscribers of their Amazon Prime service are likely to see a price hike of anything between $20 to $40, which equates to roughly £12 to £24, on their annual fee.
Prime is a very good deal. You get free--and sometimes one-day--shipping on thousands of products, and in the UK access to thousands of Kindle reads. But that little bit extra obviously comes at a price, and Amazon said it has taken a hit from rising shipping costs. That said, how much more are willing to pay for Amazon Prime?
