Apple's next-generation Apple TV set-top box will likely be announced as soon as April, according to a report from Bloomberg.
The new Apple TV would be faster and easier to navigate, and it might even host video content from Time Warner. This news comes after recent rumours that the upcoming Apple TV may provide improved support for apps and bluetooth game controllers.
Bloomberg also notes that the device is expected to hit the market in time for this coming Christmas. That's an unusual timeline for a company that—until last year's Mac Pro—generally likes to have products in shops soon after making them official.
