They've recently faced a pricing rise, and now Three’s The One Plan customers may be about to lose one of the plan’s most attractive features – unlimited Wi-Fi tethering. Recombu is reporting that the network is looking to introduce a 2GB restriction on tethering over the tariff.
The change (which is expected to be effective as of this week) comes shortly after Three’s free 4G offering was launched. Presumably, Three’s decision to make add the alleged restriction is to prevent users from running their entire web-based lives off of its speedy-tethering, which could very easily be done, given the newly-improved speeds.
We’ve reached out to Three, and will update this post as soon as we hear word back from the network. [Recombu]
