Here's a weird pub quiz question for you -- where can you currently fake up a passport and not get in trouble? Answer: In Jersey, where, for some odd historical reason, the laws have never been updated to make the mocking up of passports illegal.
The loophole may be about to close, though, with local lawmakers said to be considering introducing rules that would make colour printing off a fake passport illegal, with the act of forging or being involved in the supply of a counterfeit ID set to become a crime punishable by two years in prison.
