Apple Rumoured to be Ditching Sole Remaining Non-Retina MacBook

The 13-inch MacBook Pro, which hasn't seen its internal bits fiddled with since it was last refreshed by Apple's engineers in 2012, is due to be killed off this year, if Chinese supplier whispers have been accurately passed from ear to ear.

The suggestion comes from scattergun rumour machine DigiTimes, which claims the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro will be brutally killed off in Apple's usual executioner style in late 2014, when it'll be replaced by a newer, thinner, retina-er version, that, conveniently for Apple and sadly for its fans, costs a little bit more money.
