A Japanese Apple fan publication has published what appears to be technical drawings outlining the sizes and designs of two new iPhone 6C models, one with a 4.7-inch display and another 5.7-inch whopper. If they're real, they're exciting. If not, they're just some lines and numbers.
The size specs attached to the images show that the larger 5.7-inch model has a chassis that's just 6.7mm thick, although to accommodate the camera there's a tiny pokey-outy bit for the lens. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6C schematic shows a slightly chunkier chassis at 7mm, so no need for the camera bulge. If any of it is true, of course.
Meanwhile, screen maker Japan Display has been outed as one possible display supplier for Apple's next-generation phones, which is of interest as the company has previously demonstrated a 5.5-inch Quad HD display that runs at 1440 x 2560 resolution. Could the iPhone 6 series be the first mass-market mega-HD mobile? [MacRumors]
