It's OK Samsung, I understand. If I was juggling an international product release calendar that was busier than the Doomsday Book I'd probably make a few slip ups too.
New marketing materials for the impressive Samsung Gear Fit activity-tracking band have inadvertently confirmed details of the Galaxy Tab 4 tablet, in all its various shapes and sizes. The Gear Fit will be compatible with the Galaxy Tab 4 in its 7, 8 and 10.1-inch guises apparently, despite Samsung having yet to officially reveal the slates.
Not that this is a world-beating tablet range being lined up. Rather, according to previous leaks, the Galaxy Tab 4 is likely to land as a mid-range line. Each is expected to come with a lowly 1280 x 800 WXGA TFT screen and 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Android 4.4 is expected to be the Google OS build onboard. The 10.1 and 8-inchers will likely land with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, with the 7-incher packing just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Sony's Xperia Z2 Tablet and Apple's iPad Air can breathe easy. [Planete Galaxy via TechRadar]
