Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford have been spotted hanging around London, with Jedi-hunting sleuths noting that the Star Wars stars are likely in town ahead of the beginning of filming of Episode VII. Yep, if you didn't believe it before, it looks now almost certain that an ageing Luke Skywalker and Han Solo will be returning to cinema screens.
Ford was spotted having a chat with one of London's air ambulance teams in Grosvenor Square, while comedian and Darth Maul voice actor Peter Serafinowicz tweeted that he'd met up with Hamill "in London today", teasing "wonder why he's here?"
The answer, Peter, seems simple enough -- Episode VII is slated to begin filming in May at London's Pinewood studios, ahead of a December 2015 release. It looks like director J. J. Abrams has got the whole old gang back together.
But what of Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher? Though she's kept a lower profile than the other two stars, it looks as though she's in the capital too, tweeting:
So my dog Gary has been spotted in London, but apparently without me. Who has he been seeing? Let me know if you have any clues.
Alongside the sci-fi royalty celebrity spots, actor Oscar Isaac, star of Inside Llewyn Davis, is now also said to be in the running for a role in the movie, according to Deadline.
