Ever since George Lucas started tweaking (read -- ruining) Star Wars, one question has been raised more than any other from the sci-fi universe: in that fateful face-off between Han Solo and Greedo, who really shot first?
In the original 1977 edition of the film, the loveable rogue Han Solo almost certainly shoots Jabba the Hutt's bounty hunter first. But come the 1997 special edition, Lucas looked to water down Solo's rugged side, making Greedo shoot first and making Solo's shot an unambiguous act of self defence. So which is the definitive shot?
If you were hoping that Han himself, Harrison Ford, would would be the man to answer that question, you're sadly mistaken. Asked the question by a truth-seeking fan of the series during a Reddit AMA, Ford gave a classic Solo answer: "I don't know and I don't care." With one line from Ford, it was if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. [Reddit via Kotaku]
