Is it a phone? Is it a camera? Whatever it is, it's shaped like a slightly thicker version of the Galaxy S5, and it's been caught on camera in the wild, a week before its expected debut at a Samsung event in Singapore.
The alleged photos, which look fairly plausible, show a form factor that's much more 'phone' and less 'pocket-destroying monstrosity' than last year's Galaxy S4 Zoom (which is a good thing, seeing as that iteration wasn't exactly a barnstorming sellout).
Aside from the obvious camera bulge, details are still hard to come by -- there's an obvious flash running along the top edge of the phone, and rumours are putting the other specs at a 4.8-inch AMOLED screen, coupled with six-core processor and 2GB of RAM, all running Android 4.4.2.
If that's got you all hot and bothered, the good news is that you've only got to wait until next Tuesday, when Samsung's holding a 'Kapture The Moment' (yes, with a 'K') event at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore. [tieba.baidu.com via CNET]
