A woman who was attacked in a London park was apparently saved by her pet parrot, with the selfless bird "squawking" and "flapping" at the attacker until he quite rightly got a bit confused about what reality he was in and ran away.
The African Grey parrot, which goes under the name superhero name of Wunsy, was praised by police, although they warn members of the public not to rely on parrots coming to the rescue and would like to apprehend the man in question. "Although the parrot Wunsy came to her rescue, we are obviously very keen to trace the suspect and prevent him from attacking anybody else," said local police officer Chris Cutmore.
