Some Rogue Do-Gooder Nutcase is Giving Away Cash via Twitter Clues

By Gary Cutlack on at

A Twitter user going by the name @HiddenCash has been pumping out photos of parts of San Francisco, with successful location-seekers finding envelopes full of actual money hidden in spots around the city.

According to the bio, the idea is an "anonymous social experiment for good," with hunters bagging between $100 and $200 a pop from finding cash letters taped to parking meters. The money-giver is apparently a wealthy property investor who's hoping the cash is used to trigger random acts of kindness around the city. [Sky]
