It may have just hit a major subscriber milestone, but Spotify won't be making its paying users feel like it is the best place to hand over card details, following a small-scale hack into its music streaming service.
And by small-scale, we mean really small scale -- apparently only a single account's data was accessed in the breach, but it's been enough cause for concern for Spotify to put out a brand new build of its Android app. While all users will be prompted to re-enter password information, Android users are being encouraged to download the new version of its app immediately. Note however that this will also require all offline playlists to be downloaded again, so you may have to weigh up whether your account security or instant access to club bangers is most important to you.
