We've seen many teardowns of new tech in the past, and more recently devices seemed to have been getting more and more awkward to fix. Fortunately, LG's recently unveiled G3 is not one of those devices. In fact it's surprising how easy it is to fix.
The folks at uBreakiFix took the new phone apart to determine just how much skill you'd need if you wanted to fix a broken G3 yourself. Using the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8 for comparison, the G3 scored 8/10 on the repairability scale. That's pretty damn good if you ask me.
While DIY repair difficulty might not be high on your list of priorities when you want a new smartphone, it does mean that shouldn't have a hard time fixing it if it does break. [Engadget]
