Valve Kicks Steam Machine Hardware Back to 2015

Valve's PC-hardware-in-the-lounge dream has been delayed, with the famed Half-Life developer pushing back the launch of its official Steam Machine boxes and that odd controller until 2015.

Claiming the move is to allow it to fine-tune the hardware and that controller in particular, Valve said: "Obviously we're just as eager as you are to get a Steam Machine in your hands. But our number one priority is making sure that when you do, you'll be getting the best gaming experience possible. We hope you'll be patient with us while we get there. Until then, we’ll continue to post updates as we have more stories to share." [Steam Community via The Verge]
