LG's Mummy tablet, Daddy tablet and Baby tablet are ready for launch, with the first of its three-way touch-team set to arrive this week. The baby comes first, with the G Pad 7.0 out in Europe right now, with the updated 8.0 and the all new G Pad 10.1 coming over the next few weeks.
The tech specs are easy to explain for once, as all three tabs have the same powerhouse. A 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM do the donkey work, with their IPS displays all outputting at the same 1280 x 800 resolution. The only differentiators between them are the battery capacity and cameras, with the 7.0 offering 4000mAh, the 8.0 coming with 4200mAh and Daddy packing a larger 8000mAh unit.
The 7.0 has a 3MP rear camera, the other two are bumped up to 5.0. All have 1.3MP front-facing cameras. Apparently a man is already queuing outside the Tottenham Court Road PC World for a 10.1-inch model.
