Peter Sunde, one of the co-founders of Pirate Bay, has been arrested in southern Sweden and will serve an outstanding eight month prison sentence -- two years after he was originally sentenced.
Back in 2012, Sunde was one of four men linked to the Pirate Bay who were facing a year in prison in addition to a £2.85 million fine. An appeal eventually reduced the prison term to eight months, but the fine was raised to a whopping £4.1 million.
Sunde has reportedly been living in Germany, and had another appeal against his sentence rejected last month. He is expected to serve his sentence in full. [The Guardian]
