Spent an hour or two more than usual confined at Transport for London's pleasure last night? It's now substantially easier to claim a refund for broken Underground trips, thanks to a new online claims process that replaces the tired old getting-a-physical-form way of doing things.
From Monday, travellers are able to enter details of delayed journeys online, with returns now coming back inside seven days. Refunds stand at £3.80 for a standard single trip if TfL agrees that a delay of more than 15 minutes was its fault. Track-jumpers and strikes don't count, though. [Standard]
