One of the most beloved movies of all time is to get Secret Cinema's interactive movie treatment this summer, as the Hill Valley town of 1985's Back To Future is brought to life alongside a screening of the Michael J. Fox classic.
Everything from the lightning-scorched clock tower through to the Hill Prom dance will be recreated by the Secret Cinema production team, with the iconic DeLorean on hand to ferry film fans around the event.
"We shall play heavily on the innocent dream-like world of 1955 and the nostalgic pre-mobile phone world of 1985," said Fabien Riggall, founder of Secret Cinema.
"We want the audiences to forget their current world and take an adventure. A section of the audience shall play out the narrative of Marty McFly, being thrown into a time machine and transported into another existence and others will become part of the 1955 and 1985 world before."
Secret Cinema's Back to the Future extravaganza will run from July 25th to August 14th. Tickets will go on sale from Wednesday at www.secretcinema.org/tickets, and while the precise location has yet to be revealed, expect it to be somewhere in Central London. [Standard]
