It goes without saying, but don't trust everything you see on the Internet: a study into 100,000 Instagram #nofilter photos revealed that 11 per cent of au naturel selfie snappers actually were using filters. Posers.
The data, collated by social media marketing company Spredfast, revealed that the photo filter frauds' preferred touch-up came from the Amaro filter, used in 15 per cent of #nofilter shots. The filter Valencia was also found to be used in 12 per cent of the supposedly filter-free shots, and X-Pro II in 10 per cent. [Mashable]
