Apple's Own Voice Recognition Tech May Soon Overhaul Siri

Apple may be planning to dump the Nuance voice recognition software that powers its Siri assistant, with rumours suggesting it's been powering up an in-house voice tool for the last year or two. One researcher told Wired that: "They’re building a very strong team for speech recognition research" that would bring neural-net processing to Apple's voice input system. [Wired via MacRumors]
