A man in Bath endured an entire day locked in a public toilet, as a management company locked them up as part of a cost-saving initiative -- without checking to see if there was anyone inside first.
Bath North East Somerset Council has apologised to the homeless man, who entered the toilet on Sunday night to sleep there. The toilet was then permanently locked up on Monday morning, before his cries and bangs for help were eventually responded to on Tuesday.
Someone's been sent around other newly locked-up toilets in Bath to make sure they're all empty, too. [Bath Chronicle]
