Shock Horror, Brits Don't Want to be Cut Off From Their Porn

By Tom Pritchard on at

Remember how David Cameron thought filtering porn from the internet was a brilliant idea? Everyone said it wouldn't work, and it turns out they were right since less than 10 per cent of Sky, Virgin Media, and BT customers actually chose to leave the filters active.

Five per cent of new BT customers, eight per cent of new Sky customers, four per cent of new Virgin Media customers all decided to leave the filters on. Talk Talk customers skewed the results slightly since 36 per cent of new customers filtered all the porn away.

Yep, us Brits don't give a damn about the mental well-being of children if it means losing access to our porn. Let's not forget, if all the porn was taken away there would only be one website left. [Ofcom via Bitter Wallet]
