Vodafone has expanded its roaming scheme beyond Europe to a number of global destinations.
With WorldTraveller, customers will now able to take their UK call, text and data allowances abroad for a daily charge of £5.
Initially, the USA, India, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Ghana, Qatar and South Africa will be covered by the plan.
WorldTraveller looks potentially useful for shorter stays or if you can claim the cost on business expenses, but if you're away for a longer time you probably want to look at other options, like picking up a local SIM.
Vodafone also recently cut the price of EuroTraveller roaming to £2 a day until 31 August, while the EU slashed mobile data fees.
