The web-savvy ramblers of the future won't need to struggle against dropped calls or impossibly-long upload times for their Instagram shots of the great outdoors. The Mobile Operators Association, which represents EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, has announced that it will be extending its partnership with the National Parks England. This will see the four major carriers sharing network masts and any future "technical advances" in the 10 protected park regions across the country. In other words, your signal will get a boost in the areas, without a swathe of unsightly network towers spoiling your view. [BBC]
