Apple Patents Permanently Deformable Flexible Display

An Apple rumours from several years ago has resurfaced again, with a patent from the tech giant showing it's looking at ways to create a next-gen form of haptic feedback with the ability to permanently warp a devices's display.

The most interesting part of the patent is the section in which Apple says that "Structural components may be used to permanently or temporarily deform the flexible display to provide tactile feedback to a user of the device," hinting at some sort of screen with sensors and hardware underneath that could rise up to meet your fingers or warp its shape.
