You probably weren't expecting it but according to TKTechNews, sources have revealed that Motorola has eight smartphones in the pipeline that could end up being launched in the next four months. Some we've already heard of, and the others are brand new.
The eight devices in question are: the DROID, DROID Maxx, DROID Turbo, Moto G, Moto S, Moto X+1, Moto X Play, and Shamu.
The Moto S is rumoured to be a 5.9-inch monstrosity, while the X Play is supposed to be a small, 5.2-inch, version of it. The Moto X+1 is most likely an updated version of the Moto X, and the Moto G already exists so that one is probably the Moto G 2.
The current rumour is that Shamu is going to be unveiled as the Nexus 6, and the Droid Turbo is focussing on the high-end market with a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a Quad-HD display -- or so says Android Authority.
Sadly some of these phones may never see the light of day; it all depends on how well the others do. But on the plus side Phone Arena is reporting that Motorola is testing multiple tablets ahead of a Summer 2015 launch, among which there may be devices with 11- and 12.5-inch displays.
Mostly great news for Motorola fans, and from the looks of things anyone looking to buy an Android phone in the coming months might end up being spoilt for choice. That is, provided this information is accurate. [TKTechNews, Android Authority, Phone Arena via TechRadar]
