"These Charming X-Men" is Where The Smiths and Professor X Collide

By Gerald Lynch on at

Introspective indie kid nerdgasm alert: if you know anyone with even a passing interest in Morrissey, The Smiths and comic books, point them in the direction of Adam Villacin's "These Charming X-Men" portraits. It's a crossover event fit for its own Marvel comic run, fittingly combining the X-Men (the most elegiac of superhero groups) with titles of songs by The Smiths (the mopiest, and most excellent, of all jangly indie bands). They're all great, but that Cyclops one is absolutely incredible. Click here if you want to grab one as a print. [Secret Headquarters via Comics Alliance]
