Did you sign up for Virgin Media's broadband-only package before May of this year? I hate to break it to you, but you're about to face an enormous price increase of...£1.50 a month.
The company confirmed the increase to The Inquirer, and while it has yet to provide an explanation for the increase, the company did say that it is the only ISP to offer a broadband-only package in the UK, and still offers the fastest broadband speeds in the country. So stop complaining, would ya?
Virgin has also reiterated that thanks to an Ofcom ruling, customers unhappy at the price hike are able to switch providers without incurring any fines, but would like to remind everyone that its service is amazing value for money because you don't need a phone line. Anyone still cross? [The Inquirer]
