After years of discussions, Transport for London has finally announced the date when tube services will run all night. From September 12th 2015, select lines will run during the night and into the early hours across weekends (but not weekdays).
The "Night Tube" trains will run on the entirety of the Jubilee and Victoria lines, and most of the Northern, Central and Piccadilly lines. Launching to coincide with the Rugby World Cup -- which England is hosting next year -- six trains an hour will run through Central London across all lines, while eight per hour will run on the busier stretch of the Northern Line between Leicester Square and Camden Town.
