They're certainly keeping busy in Cupertino. No sooner than Apple reveals its iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Watch devices than it's already lining up a tablet-focussed launch event. According to the Daily Dot, the iPad Air 2, as well as a refreshed iPad Mini tablet, will be launching at an event on October 21st.
It's been relatively quiet on the iPad rumour front of late, but reflective screen coatings, the long-awaited introduction of Touch ID fingerprint scanners and the usual internal spec bump have all been touted. The release and final features of Mac OS X Yosemite is also likely to feature.
Though Apple hasn't confirmed a date for any alleged event yet (it usually holds out until a week before its date), it'll be just a day shy of an whole year since Apple last showed off new iPads, and revealed OS X Maverick's release. The 22nd of October seems a fairly safe bet. [Daily Dot]
