Chrome for Android is the latest recipient of the flattening Material Design treatment. Take a look at what that means in practice.

Obviously, a browser's main job is to display whatever you point it at, but clearly Google's new flat design can make elements of the app really quite pretty. So, there are not-quite-flat designs, fancy animations and, overall, a version of Chrome which is very pretty to look at indeed. Who reckons Gmail's next? [Play]
