Coders Hack 3DS Game Support into Oculus Rift

By Gary Cutlack on at

An extremely clever development team has managed to get Nintendo 3DS games running on Oculus Rift, instantly opening up access to a library of proper 3D games to play, should you have many hours and the technical know-how to get it running.

The solution requires a 3DS fitted with a video capture card and the custom software created by KatsuKity, and an Oculus Rift for your face, so it's likely to be quite a niche experience enjoyed only by the gaming development elite. [KatsuKity via Engadget]
